What do we really know about Electromagnetic Pollution?

No one on Earth has yet lived their entire life surrounded by the volume of electromagnetic radiation that we experience on a daily basis.

No one yet knows what it might mean for our health and wellbeing. The effect of all this electromagnetic radiation on the human system has been the subject of heated debate for decades.

“The biggest problem we have is that we know most environmental factors take several decades of exposure before we really see the consequences,” said Dr. Keith Black, chairman of neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Fortunately, many in the healthcare community are sounding the alarm and calling for increasing scrutiny and stepped up research efforts to shed light on the long-term effects of the technological wonders we have become reliant upon in seemingly all aspects of our lives.

Many recent studies are showing that electromagnetic pollution may have a cumulative, negative effect upon us, both generally and in particular applications, such as the use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices.

We hope you will find the information here useful for getting a bigger picture of what we are up against. Most of us suspect that, like smoking and DDT – the effects of electromagnetic radiation are probably not as benign as we are being told!

Wireless Versus’ Wired: When Will We Know?

How is the new wireless technology different than wired devices and technologies? If it’s a communication device and it’s not attached to a wall, it’s emitting radiation. Wi-Fi is always on and always radiating. The base units of most cordless phones are always radiating, even when no one is using the phone. A cell phone that is on but not in use is also radiating. And, needless to say, cell towers are always radiating.

Most of what you hear in the media focuses on whether or not cell phones cause cancer. Since cancer generally takes a long time to develop – this question has not yet been conclusively answered. However, most of us who are aware of the controversies that raged for decades over issues like smoking and the use of DDT know how long it can take for the real picture to emerge. In the meantime, as the World Health Organization posted on its website in the year 2000, it is best to take a precautionary approach.

According to the WHO, the “precautionary principle” is “a risk management policy applied in circumstances with a high degree of scientific uncertainty, reflecting the need to take action for a potentially serious risk without awaiting the results of scientific research.“A good place to start…We hope you will find the information here a good place to start in understanding the bigger picture of the challenges we face and what you can do about them. There is a lot of information out there…you just have to dig for it! Knowing the facts is the first and best place to start.

Energy Tools Can Help You Protect Yourself

  • The EMF Transformer™ protects the mobile phone user in 2 ways: by transforming the electromagnetic field and reducing SAR (the absorption rate of radio frequency energy) and by maintaining the dynamic equilibrium of the brain waves while you are talking, listening or in close proximity to your cell phone or wireless devices.
  • The EMF Transformer™ cell phone dome counteracts the negative effects of the harmful electromagnetic vibrations emitted by cell phones and other electromagnetic devices. It has proven able to reduce the electromagnetic energy in the area around the infused dome by 35%.
  • Most importantly, it helps to compensate for the “jamming” effect of the ‘energetic viruses’ on the energetic system of the body and produces a healing and regulating effect on the system.

Research

The risk factors for children are much different than for adults.

This diagram makes it very clear that because of the fact that all their systems are still in the developing stage including skull density the risk factor for children is much greater than for adults. Cell phone standards in the US are currently set based on the SAR model. SAR stands for specific absorption rate. One problem is that the dummy head filled with a uniform fluid that is supposed to simulate the fluids in the brain upon which these cell phone tests are conducted is the size of large man’s head. This is not a one size fits all situation! Furthermore, the fluids in the brain are not uniform, different parts have different absorptions characteristics and different sensitivity. While cells can repair themselves from a single exposure to this radiation, multiple and prolonged exposures are a different matter. The cell phone should be held away from the body and children should use them on a very limited basis. Research indicates that for each millimeter the phone is held away from the head the estimated exposure inside the brain is lowered by 10%.

This is just a reminder about how long it can take to change course and what can happen in the meantime even once we have the facts.

What we know right now!

In this interesting YouTube from CNN Dr. Sanjay Gupta interviews neurosurgeon Dr. Keith Black on the subject of what we know at this time about the effects of cellphone radiation and what he feels the public has a right to know and is not being clearly told. He is particularly concerned about the effects on children.

How soon we forget!

This YouTube is an an excellent overview of how freely we once used DDT until Rachel Carson connected the dots and sounded the alarm with her groundbreaking book Silent Spring. It graphically illustrates how casual we are in adopting new ideas in the name of progress and how frequently they come back to bite us… hard!

More Doctors Smoke Camels than any other Cigarette!

Another charming reminder of a substance we once viewed as a symbol of sophistication, manliness, even sexiness… that was eventually proven to have disastrous health consequences as well as being incredibly addictive.
