Acupuncture meridian

According
to traditional Chinese medicine, the meridians are part of the complex
network through which energy flows in the human body. The meridians
and their power points are the basis of acupuncture healing techniques.

makes up 90% of the mass of the universe. This substance does not
interact with ordinary matter and therefore cannot yet be measured
directly.

This is the
name given by the ancient Chinese to their theory of the Five "Elemental
Energies" of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. These Five
Energies represent all the phenomena of nature as they are expressed
in the cyclic changes. As explained in an ancient Chinese text:
The Five Elemental Energies combine and recombine in innumerable
ways. All things contain all Five Elemental Energies in various
proportions.
